We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Manager for our radio station at Juba. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading our radio advertising sales efforts, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the radio industry.


Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams, including local and national advertising clients, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends, audience demographics, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and pricing decisions.

Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, local businesses, and other potential clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiate advertising contracts, and provide excellent customer service to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with advertising campaigns.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help sales representatives succeed in their roles.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and accountability.

Campaign Management:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop customized advertising campaigns that align with client goals and target audience preferences.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of advertising campaigns, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports and analysis to clients, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Revenue Optimization:

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Explore opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and package deals to increase client spending and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, advertising technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Proven track record of success in radio advertising sales or related field, with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a sales management role.
  3. Strong understanding of the radio industry, including advertising formats, audience metrics, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
  5. Leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a sales team.
  6. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
